Our OTs are dedicated to empowering older Australians carry out activities in order to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
This ranges from therapies to improve hand function, assisting with simple ADLs, Post-surgery / injury reablement strategies to adapt to “new normal”.
Our OT’s can demonstrate
- Strengthening, stretching and endurance exercises – for residents with chronic arthritis conditions
- Help identify home hazards, and assist with memory and labelling devices for those with poor memory skills
- Recommend and instruct on the usage of special equipment, such as walkers, adaptive cutlery, whistling kettles (for sight impaired), wheelchairs and eating aids
- Record activities and progress
